Additional Information- This drought tolerant perennial is a wonderful addition to any garden.  It is a prolific bloomer, blooming on and off from April up to the first freeze. Tubular blue flowers create a 3-9” spike at the top of the leaves. It can be a great cut flower for bouquets. Butterflies and hummingbirds love it. It will form masses, and can spread out so leave it room or be ready to thin it out. Can sometimes get leggy or floppy, especially if overwatered, pruning helps with this. It can especially benefit from pruning in July.

Biodegradable Pots

This plant is potted in a biodegradable pot. Whenever possible KNP uses biodegradable pots. They are a great alternative to plastic pots. Biodegradable pots can be planted directly into the ground. I recommend not taking the plants out of the pot before planting, this reduces transplant shock which makes for happy plants!
