Additional Information- Bright red tubular flowers that create a spike above the leaves and bloom on and off throughout the year. This perennial can act like an annual in cold temperatures. It readily re-seeds to make more plants. Tends to get leggy, pruning can help make it more full. In full sun locations during hot summers it might go dormant and the leaves yellow a bit, it should pop back in the fall. Can be planted in full sun to full shade, but does best in part shade. Great for hummingbirds. 

Biodegradable Pots

This plant is potted in a biodegradable pot. Whenever possible KNP uses biodegradable pots. They are a great alternative to plastic pots. Biodegradable pots can be planted directly into the ground. I recommend not taking the plants out of the pot before planting, this reduces transplant shock which makes for happy plants!
