Additional Information- This is a very flexible plant, it is both drought tolerant and can tolerate poor drainage which makes it a good option for rain gardens. Allow space for it to spread, it will colonize through stolons. Though it can spread aggressively it is easy to manage and pull out if it creeps into spaces where you don’t want it.
Obedient plant can sometimes get tall and a little floppy if it's not planted compactly with other plants. To encourage more fullness cut it back to about half the height in early summer (May-June) before flower buds start to form.
Wonderful for butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds.
Biodegradable Pots
This plant is potted in a biodegradable pot. Whenever possible KNP uses biodegradable pots. They are a great alternative to plastic pots. Biodegradable pots can be planted directly into the ground. I recommend not taking the plants out of the pot before planting, this reduces transplant shock which makes for happy plants!
